1 c flour
1 t soda
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t nutmeg
3 large apples, peeled, cored and finely chopped
1/4 c butter
1 c sugar
1 egg
1/2 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cream butter & sugar together until light and fluffy. Add egg, beat thoroughly. Mix in chopped apples. Stir in dry ingredients and nuts. Pour into a greased 8" pan. Bake 375 for 45 min.

I usually double this receipe and bake in a 9x12 pan. Sometimes I add a cup of raisins.
