1 lb hot sausage or regular sausage
7 slices of bread cubed
2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
8 eggs
1 1/2 cups of milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon mustard

Optional:
mushroom
green pepper
onion

Directions:
Directions:
In a skillet crumble and cook the sausage until browned. Drain. If adding mushroom, green pepper, onion, chop small and saute. Let the meat & veggies cool. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pyrex pan and line the bottom with cubed bread. Top with sausage, veggies and cheese. In a bowl, combine the eggs, milk and seasonings. Beat well and pour over the layers in the pan. Cover and refridgerate overnight. Bake in a 350 oven for 30 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.
