1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1-1/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
2 tablespoons water
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter & brown sugar, blend in flour & salt. Press into 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Spread peanut butter over crust. Combine chocolate chips, syrup & water in pan over hot water, stir until chips melt and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat, add nuts if desired and spread over peanut butter layer. Cool. Cut into bars.
