Ingredients:  
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 T water
2 cups flour
1 cup pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream butter, sugar, and vanilla. Stir in water; add flour and mix well. Stir in nuts.

Sugar balls: Shape into 1 inch balls, roll in colored sugar.

Wedding cakes: Shape into 1 inch balls and squash slightly. After baking, dip in powdered sugar twice, once when hot, then once when cool.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 20 minutes at 300 . Cool before removing from pan.
