1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 large onion
oil

Directions:
Directions:
Mix egg, milk, flour, baking powder, and salt in small bowl. Peel and slice onions. Heat oil (needs to be about 1/4 inch deep) on medium high until it bubbles when you put a drop of batter in. Put onions in batter- coat with batter, then drop in oil. Cook until golden brown, turning over once. Let cool on paper towel.
