1 1/2 c butter,no substitutes
2 c packed brown sugar
1 c sugar
1 can (15 oz) solid-pack pumpkin
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 c all purpose flour
2 c quick-cooking oats
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp salt
2 c semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Beat in the pumpkin, egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by Tbsp 2 in. apart onto an un-greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
