2 sticks margarine or butter
1 c. water
4 T. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, lightly beaten

Frosting:
1 stick margarine or butter
3 T. cocoa
5 T. buttermilk
3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
nuts, chopped, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Bring butter, water and cocoa to a boil. Add dry ingredients to the boiled mixture. Beat well and lastly, add buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla and beat. Place in greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Bring frosting ingredients to a boil and stir. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. When brownies have cooled, frost.
