Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3/4 cup real maple syrup
1/4 cup soy sauce
4 salmon fillets, skin removed
1/4 cup coarsely ground black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix soy sauce and maple syrup in a bag. Add salmon fillets. Marinate in refrigerator at least 4 hours, but is better when marinated for about 24 hours.
Original recipe called for you to rub a small amount of olive oil on a 10 by 10 inch sheet of aluminum foil, but I just use the quick release foil.
Cover top side only of fillets with cracked pepper to coat and place pepper side up on foil.
Bake on top rack for approximately 7 minutes at 500
May also grill, 3 minutes on each side.
