1˝ sticks of margarine
2 c sugar
2 eggs
1 c apple cider
1 tsp baking soda
1 ˝ tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
3 c flour
1 c walnuts or raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine, sugar and eggs. Stir soda into cider and add to mixture. Sift flour, salt and cinnamon; add gradually to mixture beating after each addition. Add nuts. Pour cake batter into an angel food pan, which has been greased and floured. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes then reduce heat to 325 and bake 15 minutes longer. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.

After a hard day of pre-kindergarten it is always nice to come home and make this recipe. It makes the house smell delicious while I am baking it and my brother won’t touch anything with nuts in it.
