1/2 bushel wild grapes makes 4 gallons of wine
2 pounds sugar for each gallon of wine

Directions:
Directions:
Need 1/2 bushel of wild grapes to make 4 gallons of wine. Mash grapes in crock jar and make syrup of 2 pounds sugar to each gallon of wine. Pour over grapes leaving about 2 inches of space from top of jar. Leave 4 days in warm place then take grapes out and pour hot water over them and add the water to wine and add another pound of sugar to each gallon. Leave sit in warm place until it stops working (about 3 weeks). Skim about every other day.
