4 artichokes, trimmed

breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, hot pepper flakes, garlic and olive oil.

Directions:

Combine in bowl

Loosely stuff chokes

Place in pan with 1 cup of water or chicken broth

Simmer for 30 minutes and baste 3 times during that 30 minutes.

This is my Grandmother G's recipe. I will have to make these to get the measurements - my Grandmother was such a good cook that she didn't need measurements - she just looked at it and knew it was right!
