1 gallon apple cider
1/2 to 1 c firmly packed brown sugar
1 (3-in) stick cinnamon, broken into pieces
1 tbsp whole allspice
1 tbsp whole cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Combine apple cider and brown sugar in a large Dutch oven; stir well. Tie cinnamon, allspice and cloves in a cheesecloth bag; add spice bag to cider mixture. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Remove and discard spice bag. Serve warm.
