1 tsp nutmeg
5 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
(When rolling, flour from counter will blend in, DO NOT add more) Cream together shortening, sugar, and vanilla, add eggs and sour cream. Mix together all dry ingredients. Add to wet ingredients. Dough will be sticky, don’t add extra flour. Refrigerate for about 2–3 hours. Remove only portion that’s being rolled. Keep dough refrigerated till needed for rolling. Flour rolling surface and roll dough to about ¼ inch thick and cut into desired shapes. Decorate with sprinkles, nuts, and cinnamon candies. The cookie reminds most people of eggnog. Cinnamon can be substituted for the nutmeg. Bake 375 degrees until light brown on bottom only, the tops will stay white, unless overcooked. Cook for about 8–9 minutes.
