1 can crushed pineapple (8 3/4 oz), drained
syrup from pineapple
2 tsp unflavored gelatin
1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp maraschino cherry syrup
1 ripe banana cut in pieces
1/2 c mayonnaise
12 lg marshmallows
1/2 c quartered maraschino cherries
1/3 c salted pecans chopped
1 c chilled heavy cream, whipped

Directions:
Directions:
Soften gelatin in the pineapple syrup in a saucepan. Place over low heat, stirring constantly, until dissolved.
Pour gelatin into electric blender - add salt and next 4 ingredients. Blend until smooth.

Add marshmallows one at a time, blending until smooth. Pour into a bowl; mix in pineapple, cherries and pecans. Then fold in whipped cream.

Turn into and 8" square pan, cover and freeze until firm. Cut into squares and serve on curly endive.
