1/2 c soft type margarine
1 c sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 c mashed ripe banana
3 c sifted all purpose flour
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Blend together soft-type margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in mashed banana. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Turn into greased and wax paper lines 9x5x3 loaf pan. Bake at 300 for 1 hour. Increase temp to 350 and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until cake tested comes out clean.
