4 eggs (separated)
1 c sugar
1/8 tsp salt
14 large graham crackers (crushed fine)
1/2 stick butter (melted)
1/4 c milk
1 tsp vanilla (or to taste)
1 tbs Knox gelatin (soaked in 1/4 c water)

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare: Grease 9" pie pan with butter. Moisten cracker crumbs with butter (stir with a fork). Cover sides and bottom of pie pan with crumbs. Put egg yolks, sugar, salt and milk together. Cook until slightly thickened; take off fire, stir in gelatin until smooth. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Put in vanilla to taste. Pour in pie pan. Cover with remainder of cracker crumbs. Place in ice box. Serve with whipped cream.
