1 1/2 pounds of green beans (fresh, not frozen),
Good amount of minced or chopped garlic,
1 1/2 tablespoons of extra olive oil,
1 teaspoon of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine salt, garlic, olive oil and toss green beans in the mixture.
Spread the beans on a rimmed baking sheet.
Cook 35 to 45 minutes (stirring once or twice to avoid burning).
Serve immediately.

To reduce cleaning angst of baking sheet, line the sheet with a layer of aluminum foil. Easy to throw away after using.

Beans will not look pretty after roasting but boy will they taste good. Beans are done when they are blistered, lightly browned, and a bit shrunken.
