2c. butter
1c. confectioners sugar (10X)
4-1/2c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 tsp. pure almond extract
1-1/2c. finely chopped almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar & beat well. Add flour & salt. Blend well. Then add flavorings & nuts.
Mix well & form into crescents.
Bake at 350 for 14-17 minutes.
While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.

This is an old family recipe. We usually double the recipe because one just doesn't do it with our crowd. These take a little extra time to form into crescents, but they are so good, they melt in your mouth.
