1/2 c. shortening
pinch of salt
1 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, salt and sugar. Sift together flour, soda and baking powder. Add egg and vanilla to shortening mixture. Sprinkle a little flour on counter and roll out dough and cut with cookie cutters. Bake for 375 for 8-10 minutes.
