4 T. butter
1 garlic clove, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cans minced clams
1 bottle clam juice
tsp. crushed red pepper
tsp. oregano
tsp. salt & pepper
12 oz. linguini
c. Parmesan cheese
fresh OR dried parsley to taste, chopped
lemon wedges

Melt butter in large skillet, add onion, cook until soft. Add garlic, cook another 2 minutes (do not burn). Add clams, juice, crushed red pepper, oregano, and salt & pepper. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes. Pour over cooked linguini. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges. Serves 4.
