2# stewing beef
1 cup burgandy
3 cups beef broth
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 medium onions, sliced
1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first six ingredients in casserole.
Blend crumbs and flour and stir into casserole mixture.
Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours.
Serve with rice, barley or potatoes.
This also does beautifully in SLOW COOKER.
