3# beef pot roast
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1 medium onion
3 tlbs. oil
3/4 cup dry red wine
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup sour cream
Pepper and Rosemary to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Rub roast with garlic halves and dredge with flour mixed with salt.
Saute chopped onion in oil, remove and then sear the beef on all sides until it is good and brown.
Heat wine and water, sour cream & and pour it around the roast.
Put onions on top of roast.
Cover tightly and roast at 300 degrees for 60 to 90 minutes.
Serve with baked potatoes put in oven with roast.
