2 cups sugar
1 cup Pet milk
1 cup chopped dates
1 cusp chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix in saucepan the two cups of sugar, the milk and the chopped dates. Cook, stirring occasionally to the firm ball stage. Remove from heat. Cool at room temperature (without stirring, until lukewarm). Add walnuts and vanilla. Beat until stiff enough to knead. Knead on board dusted with powdered sugar, shape in roll, wrap in damp cloth and let set overnight or 1 hour (I have) and remove cloth and slice.
