1 1/2 C flour 2 teas baking powder 1/2 teas salt 1/2 C shortening 1/2 C peanut butter 1/2 C brown sugar 1/2 C sugar 1 egg 1/2 teas vanilla
Cream together shortening, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture and mix well. Form dough into balls and place on cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Pres crosswise with fork on cookie sheet to flatten. Bake at 350º about 8-10 minutes.
