Directions:
Spread cream cheese in bottom of baked pie shell. Choose best half of washed, drained and hulled strawberries, and spread whole berries over cream cheese. Mash remaining berries thoroughly to make a thin pulp. Add just enough water to this pulp and juice to make 1-1/2 cups. Blend sugar and cornstarch; stir into fruit mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils one minute. Cool, and pour over berries in pie shell. Chill about two hours. Just before serving, decorate with whipped cream.
