1 lb. vanilla wafers
1 stick margarine
1 - 1lb. box powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 quart strawberries, sliced
1/2 pint whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Crush or grind wafers. Put half into a 9x12 pan. Melt margarine. Add eggs and sugar; blend into a paste. Put paste over wafers in pan. Add the strawberries to pan. Whip cream and place on top of berries in pan. Top whipped cream with remainder of crushed wafers. Put in refrigerator and let stand for 24 hours. May also be put in freezer and served frozen.

My mom's recipe says "This is a very rich dessert -- serve small portions". However, I say "This is wonderful - eat lots!"
