22 C sliced okra
6 C chopped onion
2 C chopped green pepper
2 C chopped celery
2 small cans tomato sauce
2 T salt
1 T pepper
5 bay leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Mix in large container then divide into two 13" x 9" pans. Cover
and bake in 300 oven for 1 hour. Uncover, stir, and replace
cover and continue baking 1 more hour or until okra is tender.
Cool completely. May be put into freezer bags or containers for
gumbo portions. Add 1 can chopped tomatoes when ready to
use as okra and tomatoes.
