2 oz unsweetened chocolate, cut up 1 (14 oz) can EAGLE BRAND sweetened condensed milk 1 t vanilla 2 c plus 2 tbsp packaged chocolate cookie crumbs 1/4 c miniature m & m's or other chocolate coated pieces or chopped nuts
Grease an 8" square baking pan. In a heavy saucepan, melt chocolate with eagle brand over low heat, stirring constantly. Bring mixture just to boiling. Reduce heat; cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes more or until mixture thickens. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Stir in 2 c of cookie crumbs. Spread evenly into prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining 2 tbsp cookie crumbs and candy or nuts; press down gently with back of spoon. Cover and chill 4 hours or until firm. Cut into squares. Store left overs in fridge.
