1 lb. lean ground beef
1 packet onion soup mix
2 c. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Add packet of onion soup mix to two cups of hot water and stir until dissolved.
Place ground beef in a medium-sized bowl and add about 1/2c. of soup mixture to meat and blend using a spoon or fork or an electric mixer. Form meat into 3-4 patties and place in a skillet that has a lid. Pour remaining soup mixture over meat.
Bring to a boil. Cover; reduce to simmer and cook 15-20 minutes, or until meat is well cooked.
Serve with mashed potatoes and a vegetable using soup mixture as a gravy. Kids love this meal.
