2 C sugar
2 C all-purpose flour
2 sticks butter
4 tbsp cocoa
1 cup water
1 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs

Icing:
4 Tbsp cocoa
6 Tbsp milk
1 stick butter
1 box of powered sugar
1 cup pecans
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together the sugar and flour. In a saucepan melt butter and add the cocoa and water. Pour over the sugar and flour mix. Add and mix soda, vanilla, buttermilk and eggs. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool.

Icing:
Melt butter and add cocoa and milk then add sugar and vanilla and pecans. Mix well and pour over cake.
