25-30 Cucumbers 8 onions 1/2 cup salt 2 large sweet peppers (optional) 5 cups Apple cider Vinegar 5 cups sugar 2 tbsp. mustard seeds 1 tsp. ground tumeric 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Slice cucumbers, onions, peppers (optional) into large bowl. Add salt and mix. Let stand 3-5 hours. Then drain. Combine 5 cups apple cider vinegar, 5 cups sugar, 2 tbsp. mustard seeds, 1 tsp. ground tumeric, 1/2 tsp. ground cloves. Mix and bring to boil, add drained cucumbers mixture. Heat thoroughly, do not boil. Pack in clean jars and seal. Ready to eat when cool.
