Caraway seeds
1 stick of margarine
3 level tbsp. flour
1 cup milk
8 slices of Swiss cheese (without holes!)

In heavy skillet:
Let cheese melt "good" and come to a bubbling boil. Don't let it cook out of pan. When in full boil remove from fire and stir good, add caraway seeds. Pour in container. "um-mm good"

From the personal collection of Helen Berger. This recipe was used by her for years, and was passed to her granddaughters in the 1990's. She commented that the love of the cheese spread "skipped" a generation, as her daughters were not fond of caraway seeds.
