1/2 c. butter
1 tbsp. water
8 eggs
2 tbsp. vanilla
cinnamon
1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
3 to 4 large Granny Smith appled
3 c. milk
6 to 12 slices bread, white or whatever you choose

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, add sugar and water. Slice apples, with skin on, and simmer in butter mixture for 2 minutes. Pour apples in bottom of a 9x13 pan and allow to cool. Beat the eggs, milk and vanilla together. Slice bread in halves and layer over apples to cover whole dish. Pour egg mixture over all. Be sure bread is wet. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake in 350 degree over for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
