1/2 c. sifted flour
1-1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. onion, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, add dry ingredients and mix. Stir in onion. Combine egg and milk, stir into dry mixture. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls into hot oil. Cook until golden brown.
