4 cups peeled & diced tomatoes
6 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup flour
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups half & half
1 - 2 cups milk

Directions:
Directions:
Saute tomatoes in butter & simmer 5 minutes. Put in blender (May be frozen at this point). Put in pan & sprinkle in flour, salt & pepper. Whisk & bring to a boil. Boil 2 - 3 minutes. Remove from heat, beat in soda, half & half & milk. Heat & serve.
