2 pounds round steak, cut 1/4 inch thick
3 tablespoons olive oil or cooking oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
1 tablespoon tomato paste or 1 tomato, peeled, sliced
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup Sherry or beef bouillon
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pint sour cream

Cut round steak into strips 1/4 inch wide and 1 inch long. Brown meat in olive oil. Push meat to one side of skillet and add onions and mushrooms. Saute until onion is soft; mix with the meat. Stir in tomato paste. Sprinkle flour over all and blend well. Add sherry and stir until a gravy is formed. Season to taste. Cover and cook until meat is tender. Blend in sour cream; heat BUT DO NOT BOIL. Serve over noodles.
