1-1/2 lb. Asparagus or 2 pkgs.(10 oz. each) frozen Asparagus.
4 T. Butter or Margarine
Salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Break off tough ends where they snap easily. Wash asparagus: remove scales if sandy or tough.
Place in asparagus in steamer basket or put in about 1 inch of boiling water. Boil or steam for 5 to 8 minutes until crisp-tender. Drain or remove steamer basket from heat. Place on serving dish, top with butter, salt to taste. Serve warm.
