1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. sour milk
1/3 c. cocoa
1 3/4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
To sour milk add 1 tablespoon of vinegar to 1 cup of milk, then let stand for a few minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly. Grease a 13x9 inch pan. Bake in entirety for 40-45 minutes. If making layers, bake for 30-35 minutes.
