1-1/3 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
1-2/3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/3 cup water
1 cup pumpkin
1/2 cup walnuts (finely chopped)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and beat well. Add dry ingredients alternately with water. Add pumpkin and chopped nuts. Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour.
