1-3/4 cups warm water
2 tablespoons salad oil
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon yeast
3-1/2 - 4 cups whole wheat flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water, oil, salt, sugar, yeast, 2 cups whole wheat flour and mix well. Add 1-1/2 - 2 cups additional whole wheat flour. Knead or run through dough cycle in bread maker. Shape into 12 balls. Cover and let rest 20 - 30 minutes. Roll into 6" circle & place on cooling racks sprayed with Pam. Place racks with pitas in 500 oven & bake until "puffed" 3 - 5 minutes.
