1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 loaf French bread 1" thick or 8 pieces Texas toast
5 eggs
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
In medium bowl with pastry blender, combine brown sugar, butter & syrup until well mixed. Press in bottom of unbuttered 15"X10" pan. Place bread over this mixture. Beat eggs, milk, cinnamon, & vanilla. Pour evenly over bread. Cover, refrigerate overnight. Heat oven to 350. Bake 15 minutes covered and 15 to 20 minutes uncovered until golden brown.
