1/2c. packed brown sugar 3/4c. milk 1/2c. ketchup 2 eggs 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper 3/4c. Italian-flavored bread crumbs
Lightly grease loaf pan. Press brown sugar in the bottom of the prepared loaf pan and spread the ketchup over the sugar. In a mixing bowl, mix all ingredients and shape into loaf. Place on top of the ketchup. Bake at 350 degrees in 5"x9" loaf pan for 1 hr.
