1 can Peaches (can use halves or slices)
1/2 C. White Vinegar
10 Whole Cloves
3 Cinnamon Sticks
1/2 tsp. Allspice
Sugar (optional, but I usually use a 1/2 cup)

Directions:
Directions:
Pour peaches in saucepan, combine vinegar and spices. Bring to a boil, taste. Add sugar if desired a little at a time until desired taste. Can be served warm or cold. Taste better if allowed to set overnight to blend flavors. Serve as an accompaniment for ham and pork dishes.

NOTE: I often use Pickling Spice, instead of the one listed, use about 1 tablespoon of the the pickling spice blend. I tie the spices in a piece of cheese cloth or use a tea ball, if you still have one around.
