3 cups milk 1/3 cup brown sugar 1-2 tablespoons butter 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon 2-1/2 cups regular (old fashioned) oatmeal 2 cups chopped, unpeeled apples 1 cup raisins/dried cranberries 1/2 - 1 cup chopped toasted walnuts
Bring milk, sugar, salt, butter and cinnamon to a boil. Add other ingredients. Bake in sprayed 9"X13" pan, uncovered for 30 - 35 minutes. Good as brunch dish or for breakfast. May be served with yogurt.
