2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 stick butter
1c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2c. flour
1/2/ tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Mix butter and sugar together. Melt and cool the chocolate and mix it with the butter and sugar.
Add the eggs, salt, flour, cinnamon, almond and vanilla extracts to the chocolate mixture. Stir until well blended. Heat the waffle iron. Spoon in batter and heat until waffles are brown. Makes 4-6 waffles .
GRACE SUGGESTS a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of each waffle. Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg.
