2 - 4 T. vegetable oil
1 lb. beef chuck, thinly sliced
Salt and pepper
Garlic, minced
1 c. celery, diced
4 green peppers, coarsely diced
1/2 c. green onions or onions, chopped
1 can beef consomme
1 - 2 T. cornstarch
2 - 4 T. water
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 c. chinese noodles or cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in skillet. Add beef. Cook over high heat, stirring for 5 minutes or until meat is browned. Add salt, pepper, garlic, celery, green peppers, onions and consomme. Cover, cook over low heat for about 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Blend cornstarch, water and soy sauce; stir into meat mixture. Cook until thickened. Serve over noodles or cooked rice.
