1 1/2 lb. cabbage - finely shredded
1 med. onion - chopped
1 med. bell pepper - chopped
1/2 cup grated carrots
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 tsp pepper and 1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, combine cabbage, onion, bell pepper and grated carrots. In small pot, combine sugar, oil and vinegar and bring to a boil then remove from heat and pour over the vegetables and add the salt and pepper and mix well. Cover and refrigerate over night (12 hours) or longer.
