2 pkgs. dry yeast
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup mashed potatoes
2 eggs
1/2 cup warm water
3/4 cup butter
1 cup scalded milk
1 teas. salt
7-8 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water. Add butter, sugar, salt and potatoes to scalded milk. Then add this mixture to the dissolved yeast and water. Add eggs and beat with mixer. Add 3 cups of flour and mix. Let stand for about 10 minutes. Add 3 more cups of flour and let stand in bowl with top greased. Let rise for about 1 hour. Then with a teaspoon, drop and roll on a floured surface. Place on cookie sheet and grease with melted butter. Press hole in center and add filling. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
