2 pkg. yeast
1 1/3 c. warm water (110 - 115)
1 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
6 T. sugar
1 T. salt
6 c. flour, may need more

Directions:
Directions:
Put warm water in mixing bowl. Add yeast. heat milk in microwave 1 - 2 minutes. Add to bowl with yeast and water. Add shortening, sugar and salt. Mix in 6 cups of flour and knead for 3 - 4 minutes. Put in greased bowl. Cover and let raise 1 - 1 1/2 hours until doubled. Punch down, separate into 2 balls. Let rest 10 minutes. Roll out about 14" circle. Pour melted butter over and cut each circle into 12 - 14 wedges. Roll and put on cookie sheet. Let raise again about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Bake at 375 for 15 - 20 minutes. Brush with melted butter after they are cooked.
