2 pounds chicken tenders
1 T. vegetable oil
c. soy sauce
1 T. brown sugar
1 T. water
garlic clove, minced
tsp. ground ginger
1/8 c. slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the chicken in oil on both sides. Transfer to a slow cooker. Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, garlic and ginger. Pour over chicken. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. Reduce heat to low and cook for 4 5 hours. Remove chicken to a serving platter. Sprinkle with almonds. Spoon juices over chicken or thicken if desired.
